Local Missions
Eikon Ministries
Eikon Ministries was founded in 1997, working to build leaders who live in and are vested in the community, with a mission to change the urban community from the inside out. Since 1999, the Eikon staff have become a part of Binghampton by purchasing homes in the neighborhood. They hope to provide resources, role models, and a vision to empower the residents of Binghampton to positively impact our community, on our way to impacting the world.

WinShape Camps
WinShape Camps invited FMCC to partner in their pilot camp for the inner city of Memphis hosted at Compass Community Schools in the summer of 2024. The FMCC Missions Team reached out to the Global Methodist area churches and they accepted to partner with FMCC in this exciting Missions outreach for the city of Memphis!
WinShape Camps purpose is to glorify God by creating experiences that transform campers and families with the message of Jesus Christ.
WinShape Camps for Communities has three “how’s” that guide them in the pursuit of their purpose.
- They partner with the local church. WinShape Camps believes the church has always been and is still a key part of God’s plan to bring salvation and restoration to the world.
- Create an excellent day camp experience. Excellence is key to accomplishing our purpose statement of creating transformative experiences. It is because excellence and a display of care for the details builds the platform we will stand on to share the Gospel. Excellence cultivates trust and when trust is established, we can move past just entertaining campers with games and activities. We can stimulate their hearts with the truths of Jesus Christ.
- Engage Communities together. WinShape Camps does not want to show up in communities for a week, do a few cheers, paint our faces, hope kids have fun, and give the church a break. No, our goal is to truly become a partner with the local church and put wind in their sails with an excellent day camp experience. When we do that, we become a part of what they are called to do in their communities. TOGETHER we can engage that community in a new, unique way with the transforming message of Jesus Christ. The unity between our team and the local church will help the local church continue to engage their community in the days following camp.
We look forward to serving with you at WinShape Camps next year!

Rio Bravo Ministries
Rio Bravo Ministries is a faith-based ministry located in Reynosa Mexico, directly across the border from McAllen Texas. Originally the main purpose of Rio Bravo was to be a “Bridge of Hope” for neglected and abandoned children in the Reynosa area. The goal of Ray Hansen From the beginning in 1993, was to present the Gospel, provide for, and educate these kids in a Christian environment, so they could change Mexico. With the help of many mission teams this goal is being met every day. Those of us that have been to the mission have had the privilege of seeing kids go from being abandoned on the streets to teaching in the school, preaching, going into missions and many other careers. Rio Bravo is now reaching out to the community in missions. Because of this ministry, lives are being changed throughout the Reynosa area. If you really want to see God at work, consider joining our mission team to Rio Bravo. If you need additional information feel free to contact Ed Quinton at cadequ@bellsouth.net or my phone is 901-860-8624.
